I have just been looking at Visual Basic .NET 2005 Express, and I was glad to see that Microsoft is including Office 2003 style icons, as well as an Office 2003 style menu system out of the box.
Of course, for my VB.NET 2003 work, I like to use Divelements SandBar (http://www.divil.co.uk) and the Gyfz Office 2003 16x16 icons.
I was a professional developer for 11 years, but all of the software was always licensed to the company.
Because of the prices of these items, I can get the tools I need at a price I can personally afford.
